...One of the most common questions I get and see on other forums about the Xbox 360 is whether it's worth signing up for Xbox Live or not. When I first heard about the fact that some games could be played online against each other, such as racing games and RPGs, I wasn't too crazy on the idea. The first thing I thought is I would rather just play single player at my convenience.
Then, I was almost worried to learn that there were games coming out, such as my favourite series, Final Fantasy, that could ONLY be played online as multiplayer. This seemed to be the way things were going to go so I was faced with a "Can't beat them then join them situation".

Although college education is not required, experience playing video games is required. Playing games all the way back from the 8 bit eras will help. Also, learn the lingo of gaming terms and common gaming genres. There is no exact requirement but over a couple years of gaming experience will help dramatically.
